On August 24, 2024, the "2024 Tainan Dementia Care Expo," jointly organized by the Zeelandia Dementia Association and National Cheng Kung University Hospital Dementia Center, was grandly held. This year's event focused on the theme "The Meaning of Life," aiming to lead participants in exploring the forefront of dementia care development.
One of the event's highlights was the Collaborative Initiative Forum, which brought together representatives from dementia associations and related service organizations across the country. Attendees gathered to discuss the world's most advanced models for dementia diagnosis and care, with a particular emphasis on addressing Taiwan's local needs. The goal was to help the public gain a more comprehensive understanding of dementia, promote early diagnosis and treatment, and further enhance the dementia care service network.
In addition to the compelling keynote speeches, the expo also featured several exhibitors specializing in dementia prevention and care, including Osmile. All exhibitors showcased the latest products and services, aligning with the Global Dementia Action Plan to better support caregiving families in facing challenges. The unanimous praise from both exhibitors and attendees highlights the event's significant impact in advancing the dementia care industry.
A special thanks to Chairman Ming-Chi Bai for organizing this meaningful Dementia Care Expo and for sharing valuable experiences in the field of dementia care with industry colleagues. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
