On September 19th, the back garden of St. Paul's Hospital was bustling with activity as a "Guarding Memories Carnival" took place, attracting a large number of participants. This event, in alignment with World Alzheimer's Month, aimed to raise public awareness and understanding of dementia, promoting the creation of a "Dementia-Friendly Society."
The day featured a variety of activities, including speeches by distinguished guests, presentations of certificates of appreciation, and sharing of caregiving experiences, highlighting the hospital's dedication to supporting dementia patients and their families.
Additionally, the performances thoughtfully prepared by the I-Jen Love Foundation added a warm and heartfelt atmosphere to the event. In the interactive game booths area, participants learned about dementia-related knowledge through engaging and educational activities, enhancing social acceptance and inclusivity for those living with dementia.
This event not only deepened public understanding of dementia but also fostered a collective effort through multi-sector collaboration to build a compassionate and supportive society for those affected by the condition.
